Irradia develops and manufactures medical laser instruments, and actively and con-sistently acquires knowledge and scientific expertise in order to educate and promote health care practicioners in their quest to improve the quality of life for hundreds of thousands of people worldwide every day.

Founded in 1977, Irradia is a Swedish, family-owned business that develops and manufactures therapeutic, surgical, and cosmetic laser instruments. With 30 years in the fields of laser technology, science, and medicine, Irradia is one of the most trusted and experienced manufacturers of medical and therapeutic lasers in the world. The scientific advisor of Irradia, Lars Hode, is a world authority in the field of laser therapy. He has co-authored the widely known and cited reference books “The Laser Therapy handbook” and “Laser Therapy, Clinical Practice and Scientific Background” (Tunér & Hode, Prima Books, Stockholm, Sweden). Lars Hode's son, Tomas Hode, PhD, is the chairman of the board of Irradia International, and president of Irradia USA.
