The Base Unit

Flexible. The base unit is the "brain" in the Irradia MID laser system. It controls all the necessary functions. Up to eight different types of laser probes can be connected to the base unit. We develop our laser probes based on the most current scientific documentation, as well as hands-on experience in our own clinics. The flexibility of the Irradia MID laser system allows new laser probes to be attached to the base unit without any modification of the laser system.

Easy to set dose. The Irradia MID Laser System ensures your ability to administer the appropriate dose. Set the desired dose, then the built-in microprocessor will calculate the rest for you. No programming is needed and you can start your treatment immediately. When the treated spot has received the dose that you set, the Irradia MID laser system “beeps” indicating that it is time to move the probe to the next surface area. The total dose and treatment time is always shown on the display screen.

Adjust to treatment depth. Choose between four different treatment depths. The dose is adjusted for the depth that you chose. A sound indication will let you know when the desired dose has been reached, and when it is time to move the laser probe to the next spot.

Adjust frequency. All lasers can be pulsed between 25 and 5000 Hz. Clinical experience indicates that different frequencies may be a factor in the overall result of the treatment. The Irradia MID laser system allows you to choose the frequenceis according to your own experience and expertise.

Power meter. The human eye is a poor power meter in the visible spectrum and doesn’t work at all in the infrared spectrum. A power meter is therefore built into the Irradia MID laser system so that you can be sure that the laser is not broken and delivers what it is supposed to.
