The Irradia Holmium surgical laser is a versatile surgical laser that combines good cutting capabilites with efficient coagulation properties. The laser is light is delivered through a flexible optical fibre, and the precision is extremely high. The high precision is caused by the wavelenght of 2090 nm (good absorbation in tissue), and the strong (4 kW) and short pulses (600 μs), which makes the necrotic zone extremely small (0.3-0.5 mm). The Irradia Holmium laser is also ideal for endoscopic use, and is therefore an excellent alternative when it is difficult to reach a certain area with tradi-tional methods.
