904 nm superpulsed GaAs-laser, multiprobe & singleprobe
Primary mode of action : Anti-inflammatory.
The superpulsed 904 nm GaAs (Gallium Arsenide) laser mulitprobe is our flagship product. With peak powers of 20 W per laser diode and an average output power of 240 mW (4 laser diods of 60 mW each), the superpulsed 904 GaAs multiprobe is a powerful tool for the laser therapist. Because of the high power densities casued by the high peak powers, the penetration profile of the superpulsed laser light behaves non-linearly in tissue. This non-linear behavior significantly increases the pene-tration depth of the GaAs laser light. It has been suggested that this laser type has the highest penetration depth of all therapeutic laser types on the market. The 904 nm superpulsed GaAs-laser is also offered as a singleprobe with an average output power of 60 mW. The super-pulsed 904 nm GaAs-laser multiprobe is particularly popular with medical doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, naprapaths, and massage therapists. Target indications: Musculoskeletal problems, tendons, rheu-matoid arthritis, sports injuries, lumbago, pain caused by inflammation, etc.
808 nm GaAlAs-laser, 450 mW, multiprobe & singleprobe
Primary mode of action : Pain attenuation.
There are several different types of GaAlAs (Gallium Aluminium Arsenide) lasers. The wavelenght range of 800-830 nm has been documented as ideal for acute pain and nerve-related problems. The Irradia 808 nm GaAlAs multiprobe has a total output power of 1800 mW (4x450 mW), and is ideal for treatment of large areas. The singleprobe has an output power of 450 mW, and is intended for use on small specific areas. The 808 nm multiprobe and singleprobe can be used both in pulsed and continous wave mode. This laser type is particularly popular in pain clinics. Target indications: Acute pain, general nerve problems, stroke, etc.
650 nm InGaAlP-laser, 35 mW, singleprobe
Primary mode of action : Tissue regeneration.
The Irradia 650 nm InGaAlP (Indium) single probe emits visible red light, which has been shown to be particularly effective on conditions that relate to skin problems and mucous
membranes. Since the target tissue (open wounds and mucous mem-branes) is exposed directly to the laser light it is important that the output power is not too high, otherwise over-dosing may involuntary happen. The Irradia 650 nm Indium single prope is therefore set to 35 mW in order to ensure that an optimal dose is easily administered. Target indications: Ulcers (general wound healing), eczema, verrucae, acne, herpes simplex, herpes zoster, neuralgia, hypersensitive dentine, scars, etc.
