Irradia KTP Laser

Exclusively available in Europe.

Removal of Blood Vessels. Vascular lesions are enlarged overgrown blood vessels or multiple small vessels, and may give rise to e.g. spider veins, "port wine" stains, and strawberry hemangiomas. The Irradia KTP laser delivers selective photo-coagulation of vessels with minimal discomfort and no purpura, and is therefore ideal for removal of vascular & pigmented lesions, blood vessels, spiders veins, and hemangiomas. The green light (532 nm) is highly absorbed by red colour, and is thus well suited for most types of problems that involve red skin (it is therefore also very well suited for removal of red tatoos). Since the green light is absorbed to such a high degree, there is also a minimal burning of the surrounding skin. With a spot size of 4-6 mm and a pulse peak power of 500 W it is easy to treat areas that are larger than common spider veins and small vessels (see figure to the right). The Irradia KTP Laser is also commonly used for skin rejuvination treatment.
